Sometimes people don’t understand what I’m saying. Before seeking accent modification services, I wasn’t sure if they would work or what to expect. Kyle is a nice teacher! I took her class for two years, I learned a lot! At first, my accent was heavy, and she helped me correct my accent and improve my speaking. I also become much more confident from talking with her. Although my pronunciation and grammar were bad, she listened to me patiently. I worked with Kyle on accent corrections for 5 sessions in addition to the initial assessment. In the initial assessment, she went through the details of my background, speaking tests, conversations and returned with a very detailed report. Based on the report, she recommended 5 sessions. Over these 5 sessions, we worked on various issues of my English accents. She provides homework for me to practice after the meeting. In the class, she shares various types of practices as well.

Honestly it's hard to expect drastic changes over 5 sessions, but improvements have shown and I am also a lot more aware of the issues in my daily life outside of sessions.

Kyle is the best teacher I have known since I came to the United States. She is very professional and responsible.
